Welcome!
Welcome to my Easter poetry site! This blogging thing is becoming contagious for me -- my pages seem to keep multiplying!
I have a book of Christian poetry that has one poem for each day of the year, and so many of the poems that I post here will come from that book. However, some of them are simply favorites, or poems/songs that make me remember what a truly glorious thing Easter morning is.
Since I am in school, I tend to get so busy that I miss the joy of holidays until I am actually celebrating them. This season, I want to be intentional in reminding myself and others that our hope, our joy, our peace, our strength ... our everything comes from the fact that we serve a risen Savior.
Celebrate and worship with me!

Here's what I wouldn't put in the main post:
My blogs are multiplying like rabbits! Which is appropriate for Easter.
Did you know that "Easter" is named after some (German?) goddess of fertility. And, because rabbits appear to be extremely prolific in their demonstration of their fertility, they are a fitting emblem for such a holiday.
NOT really Christian at all, except for the significance of "new life."
BUT, appropriate for someone who has "spawned" a host of new blogs in a relatively short amount of time.
